Global container tracking
Track shipments with 10 major carriers including Maersk, MSC and COSCO. Enter a bill of lading number or an 11-character container number to see loading, arrival and pickup milestones on a map.
- Carriers covered: Maersk, MSC, CMA CGM, COSCO, Hapag-Lloyd, ONE, Evergreen, ZIM, HMM, Yang Ming
- Auto-detection: the 4-letter container prefix (e.g. MSKU, COSU) identifies the carrier for you
- Milestones: loaded on board, departed, transshipment, arrival at destination port, container pickup
How it works
- Take the bill of lading (B/L) number or the 11-character container number from your booking confirmation
- Paste it into the search box — the carrier is matched automatically from the container prefix
- Read the milestones on the map and timeline, then judge the ETA against weather and congestion
FAQ
Nothing shows up right after loading — is the number wrong?
A newly loaded container usually has no milestone until 24–48 hours after departure; most carriers return no data before the vessel sails. If it is still empty after 48 hours, check that the 4th character of the container number is U.
Can I track LCL shipments?
Only the master bill of lading of the consolidated container is visible to carriers. A house bill (HBL) is not in the carrier system — ask your forwarder for the matching master B/L.
What does a 4th character other than U mean?
Under ISO 6346 the 4th character is the equipment category identifier: U for freight containers, J for detachable container-related equipment, Z for trailers and chassis.
